I have been doing this job for fifteen years
now, and I am still hugely enthusiastic
about representing this constituency and
looking after local people. Each year seems
to be busier than the last!
I am still fighting hard to keep core services
at our local DGH. I am also campaigning
for better road and rail services, to protect
our local post offices and to stop lots
of extra houses being built on greenfield
sites.
A major part of my work is holding regular
advice surgeries and dealing with the hundreds
of letters and e-mails I receive every week.
I find it deeply satisfying to be able to
help constituents who have genuine problems.
As your local MP, I'm always here for you,
no matter who you vote for.
