MP WELCOMES ACADEMY DECISION

Local MP Nigel Waterson has welcomed the announcement of the Funding Agreement for the new Eastbourne Academy to replace Eastbourne Technology College.

Nigel said: “I am delighted that this project has got the go-ahead.  This is excellent news for students, staff and parents alike.  And it is a real boost for Hampden Park and the wider Eastbourne community.”

“I would like to pay tribute especially to the commitment of the County Council and Sussex Downs College in taking this project forward.”
