MP LEADS A27 DELEGATION

Local MP Nigel Waterson is to lead a delegation to meet the Roads Minister to press the case for improvements to the A27. The meeting is scheduled in Whitehall for 30 January. The delegation is to include representatives from the Borough and County Councils, the Fire Service and Police, and the Chamber of Commerce.

Nigel commented: “I have been pressing for these improvements for as long as I have been the local MP. Everyone who uses the A27 knows it is dangerous, polluting and slow. It is high time this Government listened to its own independent advisers and set about planning these long overdue improvements.”
